Berry Fun Field Trip

Pre-Kindergarten

"Berry Fun" trips are available from March 25th through June 10, 2011

Berry Fun Field Trips are offered on
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only

*Dates not available are: April 21, 22,25,26

"Reservations Required for these activities.

·          Visit to the Patch - each child gets to pick a pint basket from one of the crops in-season– strawberries or blackberries and hear a talk about growing fruit.

·          Ladybug Love  ( hear a talk about insects and their effect)

·          Garden variety weighing game (children “dig” up vegetables and determine if they grow underground, and weigh them to see which team has found the heaviest veggies.)

·         Coloring Book “Strawberry Time” (each child will go home with a coloring book)

·          Picnic Area available for your snack or lunch visit the farm animals

The cost per child is $4.25

·          Option: Vanilla Ice Cream is available for an additional charge of $1.00 per person       ·

There is no charge for parents/ guardians with Spring groups.  Most adults prefer to get one of our larger
    containers and pick for themselves.  Strawberries are $2.75/lb, Blackberries are $3.25/lb.

Groups arriving with less than 20 children will be charged a minimum of $85.00.
